Fall Family Session Schedule Release!

Hey all!

Merry Christmas in July!!!! Hands up if you are watching Hallmark!!

I’m super excited to announce the release of my Fall schedule! This year will be different then in year’s past. Unfortunately, I will NOT be doing indoor studio Christmas-themed mini sessions. With the pandemic, and my philosophy of keeping everyone as safe as possible…..I decided to forego my indoor studio sessions this Christmas. This is of course, UNLESS the virus decides to leave us and we can all go back to living a normal life! Wouldn’t that be the best Christmas present ever?!?!

Why no indoor Christmas sessions? My studio minis have traditionally required many props. It would be impossible to maintain current cleaning practices for mini sessions indoors with my current cleaning process (which takes me about an hour in between clients). With sessions typically being back to back, it would be impossible. Your understanding is appreciated. This is the first year in 10 years I will not be offering studio minis. I’m pretty bummed. But….safety y’all!!

Fall Family Session at Morven Park, Leesburg

Now, with all that said, here is what I AM offering. Outdoor, outdoor, OUTDOOR.

• I will be offering family mini sessions during the week at local parks in Loudoun County.

• I have a couple weekends set up at local parks in Alexandria and Fairfax to help with my East crew.

• And…I have tree farm minis setup in November at Snickers Gap Tree Farm. I am truly hoping this opens during the pandemic, if not, we will head to another farm. (I just love me some Snickers Gap though!)

How to sign up:

First and foremost….this sign up is for outdoor Fall family sessions ONLY. Please do not book a session for a cake smash, newborn or maternity shoot. If you would like one of these sessions, please email me at LCEphotography@yahoo.com, and we will send you availability separately.

1. Follow the links below to sign up for the specific session type you would like to book. If you click a link and see no available sessions, that means they are SOLD OUT.

2. Make sure to have your credit card ready. You will need this to pay your deposit. Deposits and contracts must be signed in order to book.

3. You will be sent an email with a couple more contracts (Model release and COVID waiver (it’s a have to!), and a questionnaire. All super important too so please make sure to find that email and complete the items.

4. Due to no Christmas Studio sessions, I’m at about a 30% decrease this year in available sessions. Please don’t hate the messenger…..hate the virus! I’m doing the best I can!

Fall Family Mini Session in Loudoun County, Virginia

Being a Loudoun County family photographer in the fall is a very busy time of year. I always joke that September through November can be compared to “tax” season for accountants. We are all just basically surviving. Maybe you have friends who are photographers. I’m sure you have seen the “burning the midnight” oil posts…relating to editing all night long. This is true.

For me, there is lots of coffee, lots of binge watching Netflix in the background, and lots of crossed eyes from sitting at the computer so long. But I love the final products. I love when my clients add me to their Christmas card lists…(hint, hint!)…and I love my Facebook newsfeed in November. The time of year when I start to recognize everyone’s Facebook profile and cover photos.

It’s a crazy, but beautiful, fun time of year.

One of the biggest compliments is when another local photographer reaches out and requests to have family photos done. Kristin and I have been “co-workers” for awhile. I contacted her to do a family session for me when she took some time off and gave her photog business a full time go. I love supporting new and upcoming photographers. She did a Christmas lifestyle session in my home. Those images remain some of my favorites and I put them up every year. Those images have become tradition in our home. (More on this later).

We were so blessed with GORGEOUS weather and BEAUTIFUL light this evening. I always say, “we have to work with what God gives us”. And he delivered. We were so blessed!

I think my mouth hurt from smiling so much. There is is just so much JOY between these 5. Laughing a playing games always produces some of the best smiles!

I had to laugh….Kristin was worried about this shy little one. How she was hard to photograph. School was still unable to have a successful photo shoot. I said “challenge accepted!” She ended up being the most fun, smiley, sweetheart….ever!
